We would like to say a sincere "THANK YOU" for all the monetary contributions from the employees and for all the hard work and labor provided by Granite Ridge to construct our new home. When the Granite Ridge staff surprised us with the news in March, we were overwhelmed with joy. You made our entire building process complete with wonderful surprises.
A year ahgo, the outlook for Austin was not very good. Today, Austin is full of life, energy and spirit. With prayer, strong faith and a great attitude, Austin continues to survive cancer.
Just to share with you what this means, on Sunday evenings our family watches ABC's "Extreme Home Makeover" starring Ty Pennington. Ty is the boys' favorite TV personality. You've given us our very own version of this TV show. Thank you again for "upgrading" our home.

The Knight family would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU so much for building us a beautiful home. We took our time at picking out the builder for our home and looked at your competitors in the area and always came back to Granite Ridge. We felt you offered so much more home for the money. We watched our house being built from the time they staked it out to the final walk through. Whenever there was a problem we always received an immediate and cordial response, which made the process even more pleasant. We want to thank everyone who helped us from the very beginning, from Mary Sherer and Associates to Steve Urschel who now takes care of all the little things that happen along the way after we moved in. My son would especially like to thank the person who takes care of filling M&M bowl at the receptionist's desk. At this time, we would like to wish everyone at Granite Ridge and their families a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

You all are amazing! We love our new house and cant' believe how smooth the building process was and how absolutely beautiful our home turned out! We met Elizabeth at an open house late last year, and as she showed us around the model and answered all of our questions - we were hooked! Elizabeth was fabulous throughout our building experience, as was the rest of the staff we worked with. We had such a great time designing the perfect house for us and loved driving by to each phase of construction and chat with the sub-contractors. We tell everyone we know what a wonderful company Granite Ridge is to build with. We've had a big year - getting married and building a house together, and Granite Ridge made it all the more special.

Building our dream home would not have been possible without the expertise and knowledge that our builder representative, Ray Bahler, gave to us. From the very first time that I stepped into the model that he works out of in Pinestone, I felt very comfortable and trustworthy in what he told me. I was so excited that I called David on my cell phone and told him about my visit with Ray and the lot he told me about. We were still living in Dayton, Ohio at the time, so trust and knowledge was very important.
We set up an appointment with Ray and he took us to see a house that was similar to what we were wanting to build. We then had an appointment with Lonnie Norris and Ray was there to guide us through that first meeting. Every time we needed to talk with Ray, he was available and returned every phone call that we made to him. Even after we had signed the contract and the building was underway, he was always available to us and had an answer for every question we had.
When we had our closing, Ray was there to congratulate us and to assure us that if we had any problems or concerns that he was just a phone call away. Building a home with Granite Ridge, we have had very few problems and the few that we did have were addressed the same day or the next day. They did a fantastic job!
We have been in our home for a year now and if we were to build another home, it would be with Granite Ridge and the expertise of Ray Bahler. He's the BEST!

There are several quality builders in Fort Wayne. We chose Granite Ridge because they willingly wanted to build our house to meet our requirements. Our custom built home takes into consideration our current needs and possible future adaptations. It incorporates universally accessible features and private spaces. We currently have a college student at home, but we may have a multi-generational home at some point. Both of these situations require gathering areas and individual privacy. The main floor needed not only to be barrier free, but comfortably so. Special considerations were required to address specific health issues. The Granite Ridge team helped us take our needs and ideas and turn them into an efficient and comfortable home.

I want to thank your group for making the building of my new home such a fun and stress-free experience. Words will never express how much I have appreciated everyone at Granite Ridge.
I had been contemplating a new home for the last 3 years, but was very uncertain about taking this step on my own. One Sunday last summer, I went to your open house home in New Haven and talked with Ray Bahler. I told him that I needed a builder that would take on everything from start to finish, including well, septic, etc. Ray answered all my questions and assured me everything would be handled. I made an appointment, I believe, the following week. Two things sold me on Granite Ridge... (1) the people and (2) having everything to choose from right in your showroom. Price also played a part, but for me, in anything I do, the people that I have to work with/talk to make it or break it for me. If I don't feel comfortable with the people I am dealing with in anything I do, no matter the price, I will go somewhere else.
Everyone I talked to from day one has been great. Questions were answered, things taken care of in a timely manner, etc.
Having everything in one place was a big plus for me. With working full time, it is not convenient for me to be running place to place. Also, I am a person that needs to see everything together. To have to run one place for flooring, another place for cabinets, etc. would not have worked with me. Wanda was fantastic in helping me with putting things together and made it a lot of fun.
In talking to people about my building process, I ran across several people that have either built with Granite Ridge or worked with the people at your office in one way or another, and not one person had a negative thing to say about Granite Ridge. In fact, those that have built with you would do it again and those that have worked with the people in your office have remarked how easy everyone is to work with. That also made me feel good about my decision and you should also be very proud. It says a lot about your group.
Anyway, I will stop rambling. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the experience of building a home with Granite Ridge.
I want to thank everyone that I worked with or talked to at Granite Ridge (Ray, Lonnie, Luke, Wanda (without Wanda's help, my house would not have “flowed” - love that expression), Brad (who I bugged the most), Diane, Marie, Mary, Jill, and the ladies at the front desk). If I have missed anyone, it was not intentional.
Please also extend my thanks to the people that I did not talk to, the framers, painters, heating/plumbing and anyone else that had a hand in making my building experience a pleasurable experience.

Your quality of workmanship, high standard of customer service, and level of integrity are beyond excellent. Even though we lived 300 miles away while our home was being built, the entire process was an enjoyable experience.
A special thanks to Connie Wannemacher, our new home specialist; and to our decorator, Wanda Rogers. Connie was on-the-job 24/7 to meet our needs and assure our satisfaction with every detail. Her helpful and cheerful demeanor made each encounter pleasant and productive. Connie went beyond our expectations to provide information and assistance before, during and after our building process.
Wanda Rongers shared Connie's vision for our home and did an excellent job of advising and directing our decorating choices. Her thoughtful suggestions were appreciated, and obviously correct, because we continue to receive compliments from everyone who enters our front door. We could not have been happier with the excellent services these ladies provided. Speaking with them on the phone or visiting them at Granite Ridge was like time spent with friends...encouraging and refreshing.
Thank you again for making our move to Fort Wayne and our beautiful new home such a pleasure! Merry Christmas! May God bless you and your staff abundantly in the coming year.
